ContactPermanent jewelry
Permanent jewelry, such as the Forever Locked bracelet, is permanently closed once put on, without a traditional clasp like a hook or lock. This means the bracelet forms an unbroken circle around your wrist and can only be removed with scissors. A regular bracelet, on the other hand, has a clasp that you can open and close yourself. The permanent nature symbolizes an eternal connection and ensures the piece is never lost or accidentally falls off.
In addition, each bracelet can be fully personalised with an engraving of initials, a fingerprint, or even a small amount of a loved one’s ashes, making every piece of jewellery a unique and meaningful story. The bracelet never gets lost, never needs to be removed, and has a timeless, elegant look without any visible clasp.
Materials
“925” refers to the purity of silver and means that the piece is made of 92.5% pure silver. The remaining 7.5% consists of other metals, usually copper, added to make the silver stronger and more durable. Pure silver (99.9%) is too soft for everyday use. 925 silver is also known as “sterling silver” and represents the highest quality standard for silver jewelry. It is hypoallergenic and retains its beautiful appearance for years.
Gold plated means that a thin layer of real gold has been applied over another metal (in our case, 925 silver). In our jewelry, we use a 0.2-micron thick layer of gold, giving a luxurious golden appearance at a more affordable price. The gold layer protects the underlying silver and gives the piece the same beautiful shine as solid gold. With proper care, the gold plating lasts a long time, although it may wear off over time with frequent use.
A Forever Locked bracelet is very low-maintenance. You can shower, wash your hands, and go about your normal routine. The piece naturally stays clean through daily wear and showering. Avoid harsh chemicals like bleach or strong perfumes directly on the jewelry. Silver and gold-plated versions retain their natural shine through regular contact with water and soap, for example during washing.
Sizes and adjustments
The bracelets are available in 16, 17, and 18 cm. In the store, you can easily see which length suits you best. If you’d like to measure your size beforehand, try one of the tips below.
Using a measuring tape: Wrap the measuring tape around your wrist, just above the wrist bone. Make sure it sits snugly without being tight. Add 1 cm to the measurement you read—this is your bracelet size.
Using a piece of string: Wrap a piece of string around your wrist in the same way. Mark where the ends meet, then lay the string next to a ruler or measuring tape to determine your size.
Tip: Measure a bracelet that fits you well and use its length as your size.
Bracelets usually have a little bit of give, allowing them to move with normal weight fluctuations. For larger changes (pregnancy, significant weight gain or loss), we recommend contacting the store where you purchased your bracelet so they can assess the best solution.
Personalisation
You’ve chosen a unique piece of jewelry that you want to personalise with a fingerprint! A beautiful piece that will stay close to your heart forever. But before you start, let’s make sure you get a perfect print. The clearer your print, the more stunning the result on your jewelry will be. Follow our simple tips, and in no time you’ll be ready to order your meaningful piece.
What you’ll need:
- White paper
- Black pencil
- Clear tape
- Optional: a pair of scissors
- Phone
Step 1: Create a solid black area on the white paper using the pencil.

Step 2: Rub your finger over the black area. Tip: Use your index finger or thumb for the best result.

Step 3: Check that your finger is fully covered in pencil.

Step 4: Take a piece of tape and hold it carefully to avoid smudging your fingerprint.

Step 5: Press your fingertip onto the sticky side of the tape.

Step 6: Stick the piece of tape onto the white paper.

Step 7: Before taking a photo, check that the lines of your fingerprint are clear. Then take a sharp photo of your fingerprint. Tips for photographing it:
- Make sure there is good lighting; daylight works best.
- Hold your phone close, about 15 cm from the print, and tap the screen to focus.
- Het beste is om niet in te zoomen, dat maakt de foto’s vaak wat onscherper.
- The contrast between white and black/grey should be clearly visible.
- Check that the photo is sharp before taking it to the store.
You now have a clear fingerprint and a sharp photo. You can add this to your order.
The ashes are incorporated into the locket by creating a small hole on the inside. The ashes are placed into this cavity and then carefully sealed with a bit of resin.
You only need a small amount of ashes – about the tip of a fingertip is enough.
Wearing and safety
Yes, you can. If you no longer want to wear the bracelet or need to remove it, you can easily cut it off with a good pair of scissors. Please note that doing so will void the warranty, but if you wish to have the bracelet repaired, you can of course contact the store where you purchased it.
Yes, absolutely. Our Forever Locked bracelets are specifically designed for permanent wear. We use a delicate chain that cannot cause injury, even if it were to break. The material is hypoallergenic and suitable for everyday use. You can shower, exercise, sleep, and even undergo MRI scans while wearing it. The jewellery is designed to feel comfortable and won’t interfere with your daily activities.
Yes, you can. We have personally experienced this and also received confirmation from both an MRI center and a hospital doctor. The bracelet is made of real silver. We are not specialists, so for certain wrist surgeries, the bracelet may need to be removed. In that case, you can contact the store where you purchased the bracelet to discuss how it can be restored afterward.
Yes, you can. Customs do not require you to remove fine jewelry when going through security checks. Our permanent bracelets have already passed many security screenings at various airports without any issues.
Our bracelets are made from hypoallergenic materials. The 925 silver is suitable for people with sensitive skin. If you have a known metal allergy, please mention it in the store so they can confirm whether the material is suitable for you.

The warranty does not cover breakage (unless it is a proven manufacturing defect), normal wear and tear, improper use, or damage caused by repair from a third party.
It’s possible that something may go wrong with the jewelry after the warranty period. If your piece needs repair after the 1-year warranty, we will, of course, always try to fix it. However, costs may apply, which can only be determined after assessment. Please contact the store where you purchased the bracelet first.
It’s important to keep the receipt you receive with your online order safe. This serves as your proof of purchase.
If something is wrong, return to the store where you purchased your bracelet. They can assess what needs to be done.
